The role of any museum in today’s society is constantly evolving. The Historical Society strives to respond to and anticipate the needs of our community. We continually enhance our exhibits and education programs, among the best in the country. Additionally, we have extended our mission beyond our walls and are offering proven methods of teaching history to teachers and parents via the worldwide web and in the classroom. Foundations have always been on the cutting edge with us, funding provocative ideas and encouraging us to work better and smarter to reach more children and families.

We continue to have great ideas. Lots of them. Without the support of the foundation community, however, great ideas remain just that . . . ideas. With your help, we have the opportunity to change the status quo and to inspire youngsters in real ways that will result in real changes in their lives and in the life of this community.
